The Syracuse Corvette Club ( SCC) was founded in 1968 for the mutual benefit and interest of fellow corvette enthusiasts and support of the local communities. Current enrollment in the club is about 200 members and growing each year. The Syracuse Corvette Club is known throughout the area for its corvette shows and the support we provide to the local charities in the community. There were three major fundraisers held in 2004 starting with the Vettes in the Square Corvette show in June, the Vettes at the Beach held in July, and the Walters Fall Vette Fest held in September.

The Vettes in the Square Corvette Show is our opening show for the Syracuse Corvette Club. The show was held on June 5 at Reymore Chevrolet in Central Square, New York. The show donated a total of $419 in cash and about $150 in canned goods to the local community Food bank, Downstairs Scotty.

The second corvette show held by the Syracuse Corvette Club is the  annual Vettes at the Beach on the last weekend of  July. This show is known throughout the northeast as one of the premier corvette shows. We have over 400 corvettes registered for the one-day show and all the money, above expenses, is given back to the local area communities. We were able to give away several Thousand's of dollars each year.
